Our Grade 6 Class went out to Babanango Outdoor Education Centre where they learned how to work as a team, amongst other things!  This centre runs school camps on a scenic property in Babanango. They pride themselves on their well-trained facilitators, dynamic activities, battlefield history tours, delicious food, comfortable teacher accommodation and high safety standards.

Swimming has started after 3 years not being able to swim – we are so excited! Lessons will progress from teaching our pupils to be safe in the water to swimming in a gala next year. We are working with Livesaving South Africa (Watersmart).

Spirit of Adventure is an adventure camp based at the Shongweni Dam and Game Reserve. The facilitators adopted a variety of approaches to assist the Grade 5 Class to work together. Each child tested their limits, and learned that courage, coupled with believing in yourself, will always bear fruit.

We sent our Grade 7 class up the coast to Sugar Bay Resort, which is a well-organised summer camp at Zinkwazi Beach. They were challenged mentally and physically but most of all, they had a ball!
